Without words I knew it's message!
"This is where progress ends. This is the threshold man will not cross. Seek no refuge here."
Rejected and sent into the silent abyss.

In response to its psychic emanations
They unconsciously congregate,
For what I can only guess is some sort of
Preparation for psychic integration.
With the unknown.

Once it had gained control, it turned it's sight upon me.
I feel a growing force laying siege to my soul.
Assaulting a sense unused, thus far only adding
To the amount of my perplexity of my dire situation.
I know that for this mission to be completed.
A mission on which our survival depends,
As the last bastion of hope,
I alone must must contain this mutinous insurrection.
But the magnitude of this force overloads my mind.
As I lose control, we lose any hope for mankind!

Before my eyes I see all of time in a glimpse
And the works of evil this spirit has committed.
Suffer!
The stories of which have survived only through myth
That tell of an ancient force brought to our world,
By an unwitting fool.

Pure and raw frightening death metal. There is something about this band that feels really attractive to me. It is something similar to what happened to me listening to Genocide Pact, both of them have something special and different from the rest that I really appreciate. Not the typical guitar sounds and vibe. Witch Vomit feels really brutal and serious and terrifying and also melodic and musical at the same time. It is worth giving it several listens if you like death music.

If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣 I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece.
